Chemical peel have amazing benefits on the skin.  Lactic Acid Facial Peel are one of my favorite peels.

If your complexion is looking a little dull, chances are you need to revive it.   A great way to renew your skin tone is by applying a chemical peel. I recommend a lactic acid facial peel. This has many benefits for the health of your skin, and it is easy to use and remove. It is extremely important to know exactly how the facial peel works, and what to expect from using it.

  • Wondering what Lactic Acid Facial Peels Are?

The Lactic acid facial peels I offer in my skin care clinic are taken from milk. They are composed of alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs). They are not completely unlike glycolic acid peels. These peels are fairly mild, and work well for people who have not worked with peels before now. This is because they work fast, and there is basically little chance of someone having a strong, bad body reaction reaction to them, since lactic acid is a natural human metabolite.

I have used lactic peels on clients with sensitive skin without trouble, though they are great for people who have dry or oily skin, also. Older people will benefit from the peel, as it works well with mature skin. The lactic acid peels I use are sticky, thicker than your average facial peel, and look yellowish.

  • What Lactic Acid Facial Peels Do

When you have a lactic acid peel done, you will notice several benefits. For one, it fades hyperpigmentation quite well compared to other peels. That is why I often recommend it for people with dark marks on their skin. The application of  facial peel applied professionally is always recommended, I normally set a timer to make sure that the peel is not on your skin for too long. It is very important to track time to avoid any irritation.  With each later peel you have done, you can leave it on for longer, since your skin will be used to the chemicals.

With most chemical peel

On my clients skin, some show no reaction while others usually become pink. Client sometimes report feeling a sensation of  warmth for up to a couple of hours after they have a facial peel done. I always recommend that anyone after any type of chemical peel stay out of the sun,  in any event wearing  sunscreen is highly important. Also, you will want to avoid anything that will scrub or exfoliate your skin, until it heals. Your skin may become dry and peel a little for a short time after, but will not usually peel unless it was a high concentration facial peel.

  • Clients normally ask:

    When Will You See Results

With most skin care treatments, multiple sessions are recommend. Some notice improvement right away, while others are not likely to see improved skin right away. Every one is different, different skin types react differently. On some,  skin can take up to a couple of weeks for the expected results to show up. For those skin issues that are more extreme, such as erasing fine lines, you will experience the best results with multiple peels between 6 to 12 weeks. Soon enough, It is guaranteed you will have the skin that you dreamed of, all with the help of a professional lactic acid facial peel.
