Cystic Acne – inflammatory cysts known as acne cysts filled with fluid. Will not disappear or resolve on their own if untreated.

Genetics and unbalanced hormones are the cause of cystic acne. Small or large cystic pimples start as normal clogged pores. Cystic pimples become inflamed going under the skin becoming cysts.

The risks of cystic pimples range from soft tissue infections to scarring if they are popped or scratched incorrectly, Your best course of action is to follow tips I listed below if not you  will only make it worse.

Try taking an OTC medication like Advil to alleviate pain and apply a warm compress to improve blood circulation and healing. In many cases benzoyl peroxide helps out. If it just won’t go away or stop hurting, go see your esthetician who might be able to pop and squeeze out some of the liquid accumulation and apply concentrated dose of cortisone to shrink the area and relieve the pain and will not leave any scaring.

Apple cider vinegar helps in restoring the natural pH of the skin and has some probiotics that can combat acne. Lemon juice is an excellent astringent, skin repairer, and skin-lightener.  Turmeric powder reduces redness, pain and inflammation it is an anti-inflammatory.
